Autotrophy – (Self Feeding) self-production of organic substances from carbon dioxide and nitrates using an external energy source. Green plants and certain bacteria use sunlight as an energy source. Autotrophic bacteria are not parasites.

 

It’s not only about the money

Too long an era of economic insecurity has created suffering, dependence and wars due to the lack of resources for everyone. Current economic methods only solve the problems of the economy with money. The hierarchical capitalist system, socialism, communism, and even the granting of a monthly salary to all, are all built on money alone.

 

On the one hand, the powerful and rich capitalist system takes on the property and power of the strong.  On the other hand, the socialist system recognizes the right of every person to economic security, but in reality they are constantly bargaining with the government about how much is appropriate to give and how much is appropriate to receive. The government wants to give less and the citizens want to receive more.

 

But this does not mean that money is a problem; money is good, money is a genius master solution, and the least cumbersome method of exchanging goods. The bad part is the total dependence on it and the attribution of every problem to money.

 

The solution is to create an alternative to money. Not to eliminate money or wealth, but to find a way to reach economic security that will relegate the money as a single component of the equation of money = life.

 

The proposition here is something that can be called Autotrophy, self-nourishment, and self-production for basic existence alongside the old method of working for money or property that belongs to others. In the modern world, it is now possible for each and every family to sustain themselves for a reasonable existence by using innovative methods, which will be described in detail later in the article, without having to be dependent on the milk of two thin cows and the amount of rain that nature showers on the fields.

 

And conversely, to allow capitalists to express themselves through entrepreneurship, while on the other hand reducing the pressure of the same class that still needs power, while bypassing the endless power of politicians and financiers. The Autotrophy method is a method which grants each individual basic self-gratification,  self-sustenance, independent of their community and independent of strong social representatives.

The contribution of financiers/ capitalists

 

The obsessive drive and aggressiveness of the financiers has contributed, to some extent, to the development of mankind. There is no need to abolish the upper class that contributed to the concentration and flow of resources and to workers and work in an orderly manner. And as noted above, the upper class has also contributed to the raising of the bar of luxury and comfort which has also permeated to the less affluent classes

 

 The system of a just and uniform division of resources razes the society and is contrary to human nature. The problem is not wealth but rather wealth obtained by weakening others and distorting the society

 

For what do the money people receive their capital

 

They contribute to society in two ways - distribution and organization

 

Distribution, that is, the distribution of goods including marketing overseas, which has not only brought new products but has also brought about a cultural exchange and enriched the culture, just as the pollen of flowers and trees is dispersed by insects and animals. This is the contribution of trade, which is a process that helps cultural treasures flow to other places so that they can exploit them for their own benefit

 

 Culture cannot advance on its own, it needs the friction and fertilization of other cultures. Trading is also not an easy process. The pressure and insecurity in receiving compensation for the goods is responsible for part of the obsession of the wealthy to control the sources of capital

 

Organization is a different type of contribution. It prevents humanity from going into total chaos, it puts things in the right order, and it allows reasonable functioning of the society, appropriate for the same period. When the organizers have a vision, they know how to activate the workers to fulfill their duties. When they are often uninspired and selfish, they tend to limit the visionaries and stifle their creativity

 

The benefits of the wind that disperses the seeds

 

 The question is, who is more important? The tree that produces the fruit or the wind that disperses its seeds? Both are equally important.
And yet, those who cannot be uprooted are those who receive little, although it is impossible to survive without them

 

 A fair distribution of money and means does not always succeed because the person who owns the money is the one who decides how much he deserves and how much others deserve. And he usually decides that he should get the lion’s share, and customarily backs up this division with physical force or with the help of his capital

 

 Often money is given to him by a lot of poor people, or it is saved by taking advantage of the poor masses, including endangering their lives or forcibly appropriating their land and income sources. The amount of money they receive does not correlate with their hard work or contribution to humanity, or innovation, or sophistication. Some get rich from taking and others get rich from giving. And there are those who give little, and can live without it, but they take a lot

 

 In the pre-modern era, the leaders and the wealthy built palaces and paved roads and promoted the culture. Thus, too, the army in the past and in the present has developed things that are currently used by the public. This process was carried out by exploiting the people

 

 An example from the modern period is that of the so-called "Robber barons." These were businessmen who developed the railroad industry in the US, thereby expanding the freedom of travel of the lower classes and increasing the ability to distribute goods, but at the same time creating monopolies and scorning the quality of the products that they themselves created.

 

 

This is what all the tycoons who created and are creating large industries do. On the one hand, they reduced costs, made daily necessities cheaper and available, mass production shortened the amount of time people had to work for everyday products, especially food.

 

 On the other hand, they discovered that it was easier to take a penny from every poor person than to receive a large sum at once and thus found new ways to exploit this. Not only did they benefit from the masses, they also received and are still receiving government support and resources because of their contribution to the workers and also because of their power to put pressure on the government.

 

 

The way to drain money from the masses is to create consumer addiction, frequent changes in fashion, reduce product efficiency, buy small businesses, and take advantage of technologies which enable non-employment.

 

The institutionalization of agriculture, along with its usefulness, led to the beginning of capitalism when it limited the areas where people could live, go freely, and gather fruit as they pleased. A society with ownership of assets like the agricultural society is the one that started competitiveness, classes, poverty versus wealth, assets versus society, patriarchy. Today, the situation is even worse, the population explosion makes it difficult to buy an apartment or a house, and on the other hand, a small portion of the population owns too much real estate.

 

Today there is enough money, services, products and food to feed everyone in the world, but there will always be those who will deny access to them, only so they themselves will become infinitely rich.



 

The time of the tree

 

Does the majority have to subjugate itself to an obsessive minority that only wants to increase its own profits? Those people in the minority do not realize that they owe their wealth to those who earn minimum wage and even to the homeless, who contribute to the fear of the public who are afraid to join their ranks. They also owe their luxury and technology to the wisdom gathered throughout all the years of civilization.

 

Many businesses did not only contribute the least of the distribution and organization but they profited despite the damage caused to their factory and sometimes even because of the damage they caused others. And, much of the unjust enrichment is useless to humanity, like those who profit from simply transferring money from place to place through the Internet.

The dispersers of the seeds that will disperse, organize and keep silent 



as if the contribution of craftsmen, inventors, and cultural figures, philosophers, original clergymen, writers, painters, mothers of children is worth so little that they can be left to live with uncertainty about their survival. Not to mention that people have sacrificed their quality of life, liberty and even lives on the altar of all development.

 

Today, the inability to meet all of our needs is greater than in the past. Even in more developed countries there are threats of hunger and deprivation and during a period of insecurity; everything can collapse, even in the established classes.

How can this program be carried out in practice

The idea of allowing every person to live with dignity without having to work or struggle for their livelihood is not new. There is one solution that has come up here and there, and  was even implemented in India, Finland and Switzerland, and some still try to market it. But there will always be dependence on decision makers and arguments over the quantity

Another solution proposed in the "Venus Plan" is the elimination of money. The problem is that eliminating money will only eliminate the technology that makes things easier for the individual and will create new problems

However, shattering the sacred idealism of money and property is important for changing human consciousness



Today there are many methods to live independently of others. The problem is that they are not concentrated in one place. One method in one place is insufficient for an independent existence. When individuals and families concentrate most of these methods in one house or one apartment in places open to the idea we will be able to spread the idea to the general public

 

Food

The first solution is to the main problem, the main source of troubles, the basic need for food. Already today, methods are being published for self-growth in a relatively small place such as roofs and gardens outside the city and less dependence on the seasons of the year. Science can detect all the vitamins needed in certain plants. Today, plants that have most of the ingredients that a person needs in food, including vegetable protein, vitamins and minerals, such as spirulina, can be easily grown indoors.

You can supplement the need for variety and delicacies in the old-fashioned way, by going to the supermarket

Another equally important basic problem in large parts of the world is the supply of water, especially fresh and clean water. Here, too, various methods have been invented in the world. Here are two examples of them, one method is to produce clean water from special sheets that capture fog.

 

There is another more simple method, invented by an Italian inventor, in which salt water can be cleaned by what looks like a ceramic pot, a cheap and very simple home system.

 

Other methods for supplying inexpensive food and clean water are constantly being invented and published.

Food and water are the most basic needs, but it is possible to expand inventions for less immediate, but also elementary, needs, first of all shelter, then basic education, medicine, energy, heat and transportation.

Shelter

Having a roof over your head is particularly complicated. But here too you can use inexpensive techniques and self work.

 

In the future it may be possible to print homes, but not land ... But today, before printing of mass houses becomes a reality, it is possible to find more immediate solutions.

 

Modern technological methods for food and smart furniture and modern equipment for the kitchen and home allow a smaller living space and there is no need for the vast lands whose availability is decreasing day by day. On the other hand, technology and basic economic independence make it possible to settle in remote places because the land there is cheaper.

 

Mobile homes are another popular idea because building on private land is too expensive. Another solution to the problem of land reduction is a plan that today seems fanciful but reasonable,  it is the building of small islands on the ocean.

It is possible to utilize relatively small apartments in high-rise buildings. A part of the balcony may be used as a substitute for a garden. Plants can be grown in vertical or spiral pots or any other creative idea can be used. Architects have built homes with high ceilings to create the sense of a large space in a small house. Today it is possible to buy small houses with planning that maximizes utilization. Extensive spaces around the houses eliminate the sense of overcrowding.

 

Today's architecture enables not only the construction of high-rise buildings that look like identical matchboxes, but also those that have almost no common walls and are colorful and imaginative and have gardens on the balconies, made of materials that are cheap and strong, like those made from containers.

 

Self-construction allows for a lot of creativity. For example, houses that are built from all kinds of materials by private individuals, including women who have built houses from clay, wood, and even a house that was sewed using strong fabrics.

 

The relative freedom in the construction industry may encourage building and developing more green products than exist today.

 

Energy

Another painful point that creates dependence on others is energy.

 

The independent exploitation of solar energy by using solar panels is just at its beginning. But already, solar panels can be used not only for heating water tanks, but also for everyday products, such as hair straighteners, heating cooking utensils, charging electric appliances, integrating them into hiking bags or hats, and even for heating homes. In the future we will have solar batteries reserved for rainy days.

 

Information and communication

Another human need is the need for knowledge. An unlimited source of free knowledge is the latest development that has recently surfaced but has had a tremendous impact on all classes of society.

 

The Internet, which is found on computers and mobile phones, contains valuable free knowledge. Knowledge resources on the Internet make general education available to all. You can plan regular school classes for children and adults, taught by qualified teachers, even in the most remote places. Today, useful information for adults is available online for free, or almost free, such as basic medical knowledge, topics such as marketing and sales and courses on a variety of topics.

 

In regard to the creation of true social communication, despite the tendency to exaggerate the shortcomings of digital communication, social networks, Skype and smartphones enable a new type of communication, one that did not exist in the past, the ability to communicate with relatives or colleagues who do not live nearby. This communication makes it possible to live in remote locations.

 

Disadvantages of the method

The idea of autotrophy cannot be applied in every field, and if there is no choice, you can simply buy at the store as is done in the accepted method today.

There is a risk that stakeholders will turn ideas of this kind into a concern that is too expensive and unprofitable. In the same way, for example, as how low quality parts are sold, in the "do it yourself" method with instructions that look like nuclear physics formulas.

  However, the time that will be freed up and the pressures that will be alleviated from having to make a living will help to streamline the utilization of new inventions.

 

Autotrophy and Society

In the past humans huddled together because they needed protection and mutual help. But this [type of] survival took a high toll. It is not surprising that in the last few generations, once they began to rely on social protection and minimal survivability, people started to look for places where they could get away from others for a while and spend time with themselves.

 

The communes of the past examined the idea of an independent existence of groups of individuals in which each person plays his part. Many of the communes disintegrated because of the need to consider others. For the same reason, the kibbutz did not become a dominant trend. Organic communities, such as clans and tribes, are also problematic because there is an internal hierarchy of power and exploitation.

 

The fear of independence is also the fear of the threat of loneliness. The constant threat of the parents, who are representatives of the society; what will happen to my child? In the end you will be alone. If a person is independent, he may end up alone. If he uses social networks he is supposedly lonely. And many other clichés that cause the individual to join groups that do not always benefit him, in fact, they do just he opposite.

 

Autotrophy does not mean to undermine society, rather the dependence on society, the liberation from dependency on more aggressive elements and exploiters. Sometimes even a society of love and brotherhood can create hierarchy and control and dominance, not only by the leaders but also by the group itself that controls the individual to ensure that he will not deviate from the lines or be different.

 

Humanity to a great extent is one body and not only separate individuals, but sharing can be done at different levels. People will not be alone, rather they will be able to choose who they want to be with, they could choose their true tribe and not who they are forced be with, or they can live in different tribes at different times.

The system talks about an active solution rather than passive acceptance of money through computers, as well as different levels of independence. In other words, there may be cooperation between families or communities to one degree or another, and therefore it does not necessarily entail loneliness, but only allows independence as much as possible.

 

The Autotrophy Method is a solution to the acceleration of the process of destruction of the Earth. Encouraging excessive and irresponsible consumption is leading to overuse of the planet's resources by unacceptable means, such as the destruction of forests, rarefaction of clean water and poisoning of the air and land.

 

Many people believe that the Law of the Universe is that there are those who have things and those who do not. Therefore, the poor, the hungry, don’t particularly bother those who have, and for many this is not a "sexy" subject. Therefore, a class that was not considered a lower class but fought for its existence, such as students and unemployed academics and artists and writers can spread the idea of autotrophy among those who do not have anything. The establishment of experimental settlements for the idea of autotrophy in separate places can also be useful in spreading the ability of economic, professional and mental independence to those who are ostensibly destined for poverty.
